LIFE CYCLE

Female mosquitoes lay eggs every 3rd day during their lifespan, usually in clumps of 100-300 eggs.  The eggs are deposited in standing water. Mosquitoes can lay eggs in as little as I inch of water.  When the eggs hatch the larvae emerge. It takes about a week for them to develop into Pupae.  It takes about 4 days for the adult mosquito to emerge.  They can live for a month or two.

DISEASES

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control report that Mosquitoes kill more than 1 million people a year through the transmission of Malaria.  Other diseases that have sickened or killed people include West Nile Virus, Yellow Fever and Dengue Fever.  The ZIKA virus is now considered a global public health emergency.

PREVENTION

Remove empty containers around your yard. This includes buckets and tires.  Pet water dishes should be changed daily.  Make sure your pool is clean and chlorinated.  Check all drip and sprinkler heads for excess watering and standing water.

Treatment OR Solving The Mosquito Problem

We have customized treatment programs for both Residential and Commercial properties.  Treatments include the use of granules that are SAFE in all grass and gravel areas.  We use a liquid spray under all shrubbery where MOSQUITOES tend to rest.
